• Greenfield is the nearest railway station which is on the mainline route from Manchester Victoria and Huddersfield. From here a 15 minute walk to Uppermill.
• Road Directions Leave the M62 at Junction 20 and take the A627M. Turn off at the second exit, towards Oldham. Travel to the end of the A627 bypass, following signs for Oldham then Huddersfield until you reach the large roundabout, just beyond Oldham Mumps Railway Station. Follow the brown Saddleworth Tourist Attractons signs to Uppermill.
• From "The Square" in the centre of Uppermill take "New Street" (opposite the chippy). This road continues upwards as Church Road and Running Hill Gate. Go to the very top of this road, go past the turn off for Saddleworth Chuch and take the next left into the Cross Keys pub car park. Taxis always available from The Square in the centre of Uppermill
