July	5th	Singers Night	Special night for the local singers & musicians who support our guests throughout the year.
July	12th	Bandersnatch	Six individuals of immense experience create a sound that combines rich vocal harmonies with excellent musicianship. Within two or three bars you will know that you are in for a treat! Bandersnatch are quite simply a delight! Expect a magical and moving experience and if all that's not good enough the band are 'Game for a laugh' with their spontaneous patter perfectly pitched to please.
July	19th	Ron Yates & John Courtman	Ron has written many songs about local places, people and events - and it a pleasure to hear him sing. He is acompanied this evening by John who plays his own and well loved tunes on various whistles.

Aug 2nd Jock Photo of Guest A rare opportunity to see Jock - he is of course the infamous lead (?) singer (?) of Biggles Wartime Band who for many years have been stars at Glastonbury.
Aug 9th Steve Turner Steve Turner has been turning into one of this country's finest male singers and performers of folk-song - with him you can truly say that he shows all the qualities of a great singer and interpreter of folk-song. Material: from Ry Cooder to Handel via some great Napoleon ballads and, just to show his versatility, a couple of banjo tunes. He is a huge talent and has never had the recognition that he deserves.
Aug 16th Robin Doughton Photo of Guest Robin gives a suprisingly good performance and he is well worth catching.
Aug 23rd Singers Night Special night for the local singers & musicians who support our guests throughout the year.
Aug 30th Jeff Davies Singer, musician, folklorist & entertainer from the U.S.A., performs traditional music of North America. Multi-instrumentalist with a special feel for old time banjo & fiddle styles, also plays guitar, concertina & mandolin as well as other more unusual instruments such as jaw harp & nose flute.

Sept 6th Eddie McGuirk Photo of Guest You have previously seen Eddie Mcgurk at the Cross Keys - when he played as part of Bandersnatch. Eddie's instruments are the Acoustic Guitar, Whistles, and Mandolin.
Sept 13th Steve & Kristi Nebel Steve's strong song writing & Kristi's wonderful voice & base playing focus on performing songs they have written themselves that deal with life in Alaska & NW Canada. They are peace activists & currently reside in Tacoma, WA, USA
Sept 20th Keiran Halpin Photo of Guest Born Drogheda, Co. Louth, one of the very finest Irish contemporary songwriters, he is quite simply - one of the best. The songs are only part of the story, Halpin has a voice that sells the songs & has the effect of accentuating all the emotions
Sept 27th Kimbers Men Four great musicians and singers with wonderful harmonies. Featuring Neil Kimber the ship’s bosun, John Bromley the ship’s cook, Joe Stead the ship’s doctor & Roger ‘Tonky’ Hepworth, the ship’s cabin boy. Their shanties and sea songs bring an element of enjoyment not heard since the heyday of the Spinners

Nov 1st Roger Davis Photo of Guest Roger Davies is making a name for himself as one of todays most entertaining acoustic folk singer songwriters. He's from Brighouse, West Yorkshire and is thrilled to have been asked to perform at this gem of a Folk Club. Roger is a folkie kind of guy who writes his own songs, sings, plays a guitar, and sometimes blows a harmonica as well. Please come along if you can and we'll enjoy a great night of music together. Nov 8th Dave Tuxford Photo of Guest Welcome return to the Cross Keys of one of the most popular local singers with an impressive well chosen catalogue of songs sung really well. Dave is also an accomplished guitarist.
Nov 15th The Hometowners The Hometowners Mick Collins Kevin Clarke and Pete McMillan - Hosts of the very popular Sunday Singers Night here at the Cross Keys now perform midweek for your delight and delectation. Expect a night of good humour, good song and good musicianship.
Nov 22nd Better Late Photo of Guest Barrie Cottom, of Shaw's Playhouse 2, says "Better Late are otherwise known as Pete and Jan Shevlin. Jan’s warm, clear-as-a-bell voice is beautifully complemented by Pete’s understated guitar playing." Our host of Wednesday nights, Jim Schofield, says "They have touched us all with their singing."
